Ben's experience at our practice

Ben had not been to the dentist for some time and had put off the event given everything seemed fine with his teeth. After 3 years of neglect, Ben decided he must visit the dentist and decided to book his first Dental health assessment with us at Envisage Dental Ferndown.

What we did

Ben had a Full Dental health assessment for 30 minutes where the dentist charted each tooth on our state of the art software system and used X-Rays to understand the condition of Ben's oral health. A full smile check was also conducted to ensure we understand what Ben wanted to achieve in the short and long term as well as how we can help keep his teeth healthy for life.

Outcome

Ben had a full review and needed no treatment! He no longer felt nervous about future appointments because of his positive experience and immediately booked another Dental health assessment for 6 months, as advised by his dentist.

"I hadn't gone for a check-up in more than 3 years. I kept saying I needed to, but why go if there's nothing wrong? I had no sensitivity or spotting but I thought I should 'go!', so I did! I came in to have a Dental Health check along with a scale and polish with the Hygienist. I enjoyed the experience! Not many people would say that about the dentist, especially me! My dentist at Envisage Dental Ferndown was excellent, he was very pleasant and after my check I was informed no treatment was needed. Everyone at Envisage Dental Ferndown made me feel at ease. The staff are great and the appointments generally run on time. Sarah and Mia are always superb. Stephanie and her assistant (apologies don’t know the name) are very thorough and offer great banter. Reception is always polite and professional too.

I had a large lower tooth extracted which was stressful. I was then discharged to the reception desk while still shaking and found difficulty in getting my credit card out to pay. The girl at the desk was most helpful and got the card out of my wallet and I was able to pay my bill on the machine while still shaking. It would have been helpful if I had been given the opportunity to sit down and compose myself before being hurried into the payment process.

I’m happy with the service but I am finding it very expensive. As a pensioner I need to consider the cost more now. I am limiting my appointments because if this but still find the cost high.

I have to say a massive thank you to Tom and Tayla (the T birds) for their amazing care and attention, and getting me the most amazing smile!! I had a dead front tooth and the other front one was badly chipped. I wanted my smile fixed for my 50th (2 days away) and I am absolutely thrilled to say they were finished today.
